1) What is Egoexit?
Egoexit is a mainstream Gospel Band founded in 2007, consisting of 3 Roman Catholic members with common beliefs:
The Band comprises of:
Auxilia Sequeira - Vocals
Jeremy Fonseca - Keyboards / Synth
Brian D'Souza - Vocals / Guitars / Groovebox
Ryan Lewis - Manager

2) But why the name - EGOEXIT?
We as a band firmly believe that God’s plan for mankind is Love shown perfectly through his only son Jesus Christ our Saviour and that the biggest obstacle that prevents Love form entering into our lives is our EGO. It is only with the exit of our EGO that Love enters our life and we truly begin to live and that’s the message we wish to pass on to our audience. Hence the name EGOEXIT.

3) What are our musical influences and inspirations for this kind of Music?
The Source of our inspiration is God, the perfect Love he showed through his only Son Jesus Christ and the life that comes from the Holy Spirit.
However if it is the Genre of Music your talking about, well, if you know the mainstream rock bands of the 80’s like Roxette and Petra and modern day main stream Gospel bands like Casting Crowns & Disciple you will see the similarity and understand that the influence we draw from is these bands.
However although similar in the Music we are unique in our own way. How?- Well you just have to get a copy of our CD to find out.

4) What are the songs based on?
The songs we compose have God at its core and display’s his Love for us and the need of God in our lives. It is the experience of God that is shared by the band members in our everyday life, through our trials and joy’s and the Music is a way of expressing it the best way we can. For everyone expresses this in their own way and as musicians this is how we channel it best.

5) Are all our tracks original music?
Yes all the songs we have composed are original Music conceptualized, written and composed by the renowned Musician - Brian D’Souza. We as a band firmly believe in originality, and will continue to create & unleash our brand of music. However we also do plan on covering songs that have touched each of our lives, in our own unique EGOEXIT way.

6) How do you say was our experience of recording music?
We would say it was intense, passionate, enjoyable and a learning experience for all. However we believe that an experience is something that is unique and special to each of the band members. Something unique to each and at the same time shared by all. Balancing work & music is no easy task, but if you give your time to Jesus, He makes sure everything else falls in place.

7) Do you plan to play live at a concert?
At this point of time the band wishes to continue channeling their music with studio recordings and more albums. We definitely do plan to play live at a concert someday.

8) What’s that talk about the latest single - Mother of Mercy?
We believe that Mercy is something all humans should have towards each other in these times of violence and is needed in the World today as a product of Love. Being a Catholic band we believe in the intercessory power of the Mother of God and our Mother - Mother Mary who is the model of Love, Mercy and the best example of Christian living. Hence the name Mother of Mercy. The name also fits our cause- “Rainbow Kids”.

9) Where exactly is your cause with the CD sales directed towards?
All proceeds from sales will be directed towards supporting social movements, causes & act as support functions towards NGO's that belong to the Catholic Church.

10) Do you intend to have projects such as these in the future?
Egoexit as a band has always believed in Music for a Cause. As musicians we feel obliged to help in the way we can best – which is Music. We do intend to continue projects like this in the future, always for the Greater Glory of GOD.
