Them Clones were created sometime in July 2000.

It came about because we were looking to forge an identity as a fun loving, left-of-the-middle, sort of band. The name reflects the general attitude of the band. …”We just thought it would be interesting as our clones and not ourselves. Also the name is adapted from one of our favorite tracks “Them Bones” by “Alice In Chains”.

Them Clones have been playing countless gigs across country(colleges fests and pubshows,corporate events etc.)and high profile concerts eg.MTV Campus Idols, Channel[V] Launchpad, Bajaj Spirit of Rock,Battle against AIDS Concert, Levi's Great Indian Rock where THEM CLONES has been featured 4 times in a row in RSJ's GIR compilations -

Them Clones tracks are currently been aired in UK’s ROCK 3 RADIO channel and also in Hits 91.2 FM (Nepal).Hits like Zephyretta, My life,In the name of GOD,Wait for me, The Bomb Song, Find My way, Awaken, Sindrome gets maximum airplay.

THEM CLONES was featured in an exclusive interview on BBC RADIO U.K. on Nov 8th ’04, talking about the current rock music scene in India. It will be uploaded on their official site http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1 for international coverage soon after.

Them Clones scored music for a movie soundtrack under PRIYANKA Productions, Imphal ,Manipur

Them Clones was featured in Sudhir Mishra’s(of Calcutta Mail,Chameli,Is Raat ki Subah Nahin fame) art movie “Hazaron Khwahishen Aisi" as "The Animals" which finally had a commercial release in the April 2005.

Them Clones gets selected for Channel [V] Launch Pad out of 72 odd bands from all over the country. Channel [V] selects "The Bomb Song" for the video.

“ZEPHYRETTA” gets selected for AIRTEL HELLO TUNES.

Them Clones EP crosses 7000 online sales

After a massive online sales of 7000 cds(till today) of the EP successively titled THEM CLONES,this year i.e. 2005 so far they plan to release a full length album through a music label.They plan to hit the studios in the month of August '05 for their first major release.
